AARP offers driver safety program

The Lake Elsinore Senior Center will host the AARP Driver Safety Program from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 24. The program is designed as a refresher course for those 50 and older, designed for the special needs of the mature driver. Not only will students learn the rules of the road and get an update on all the new laws but they will also learn to adjust to the changes that come with age. At the end of the class, students will receive a certificate of completion which may result in a discount on car insurance for the next three years.

Registration is being accepted at the Lake Elsinore Senior Center, 420 E. Lakeshore Drive in Lakepoint Park. The course is $10 payable by check. The class is filled on a first-come basis. To learn more call (951) 674-2526.
