Auditions for Southwest Women's Chorus

TEMECULA – Open auditions have been announced for Aug. 13 and 20 for the Southwest Women’s Chorus. Auditions will take place on those days from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main St., Temecula, in the upstairs rehearsal room.

Audition requirements: “Happy Birthday” unaccompanied starting on middle C, to demonstrate full control of mix and head voice and stay on pitch. Looking for those that can carry a tune with good blending voice quality and a love of music. Participants should desire to dedicate time to an established, quality chorus.

The organization is looking for chorus members for an annual Christmas concert at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater which will encompass a wide variety of music, including classical, contemporary and classic carols. In addition, there will be solos, ensembles, and audience sing-a-longs.
