Care Enough to Wear Pink, Pink Heals Tour coming to Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Firefighters and the Kairin Clinic are working together to bring two exciting fundraisers to Fallbrook. The first local Care Enough to Wear Pink events will provide support for women battling all forms of cancer.

Sun., Sept. 30 - Care to Wear Pink 5K Walk

This fun walk will take place at Pala Mesa Resort from 7 to 10 a.m. Those who pre-register will receive a goody bag. The event will also feature exhibitor booths and raffle prizes. Register at http://www.caretowearpink.org.

Wed., Oct. 3 – Pink fire trucks to celebrate the Care Enough to Wear Pink Tour

Cheerful pink fire trucks will be at Fallbrook High School’s football stadium from 6 to 8 p.m. The trucks will be led by founder Dave Graybill. Firemen volunteers drive the pink fire trucks 16,000 miles across the country and Fallbrook will be their only stop in San Diego County!

Several gourmet food trucks will be on hand with a variety of menus to choose from in addition to raffle prizes including a night’s stay and round of golf for two at Pala Mesa Resort.

Community members are encouraged to support local women by wearing Care to Wear Pink shirts. Shirts ($10/each) are available at the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, 111 S. Main Ave .; Kairin Clinic, 577 E. Elder Street; or North County Fire Station #1, 315 E. Ivy Street in Fallbrook. Checks should be made payable to Fallbrook Firefighters.
