Chapin-Thomas wed

Mr. Tynen Eyre Chapin and Miss Rachel Beth Thomas were married in a countryside ceremony on May 7, 2006. The afternoon ceremony was held on the bride’s birthday, a Thomas family tradition. Under a natural canopy of oak and sycamore trees, the couple exchanged their personal vows on a creek bridge along a pathway adorned with tulle, daisies and sunflowers.

Rachel, a Vista native and a 1998 graduate of Rancho Buena Vista, is the daughter of Chuck and Nancy Thomas, longtime Vista residents.

Ty, a native of Fallbrook and a 1999 graduate of FUHS, is the son of Craig and Nancy Watt, longtime Fallbrook residents.

A down-home BBQ reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents in a beautiful garden decorated with wildflower bouquets, sunflowers and candles. With entertainment provided by a trio of guitars, there was plenty of dancing under the stars. The couple honeymooned in Laguna Beach. They reside in east Vista.
