Fallbrook Fall Faire Oct. 27

FALLBROOK – The inaugural Fallbrook Fall Faire will not only be alive with the sight of over 75 hand-made scarecrows, but also with the sounds of local music when it takes place on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Along with all the taste thrills 10 food trucks can deliver, four bands will play in the parking lot on Alvarado Street just off

Mission Road.

Featured bands will include One Below, Ashley Krouse Band, Fabricated Mess, and Blue Frog. Fabricated Mess is Corporal Juan Dominguez’s band. He is the triple-amputee Marine featured on the television show 60 Minutes and all the local news channels when he was awarded a beautiful home retro-fitted especially for his needs.

So sad to see the lack of participation for the inaugural event. We were anxiously awaiting the Food Truck roundup, but only three showed up, not counting the funnel cake booth. We had good food but unfortunately no shade. Hopefully more people showed up later in the day. Maybe next year??
