Fundraiser set up for Deputy Piquette's family

A relief fund has been established in Deputy Sheriff David Stan Piquette’s name. Deputy Piquette was the son-in-law of Fallbrook residents Greg and Betty Butler. He was killed in a tragic accident on the 91 freeway en route to his job. His survivors include his wife, Shawna, and 3-year-old twins Justin and Jordan. A fundraiser event to benefit the family will be held Sunday, September 10, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Backwoods BBQ, 4300 Green River Road, Corona. The event will feature two live bands, a silent auction/raffle, an endless BBQ buffet and bike and muscle car shows.
