Garden club to learn about soil amendments

FALLBROOK – Gisele Schoniger, from Kellogg Garden Products Company, will discuss "Preparing & Amending Soil" at Fallbrook Garden Club's meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Schoniger is an organic gardening educator who provides ideas and solutions for greener living. She has a degree in ornamental horticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and specializes in creating healthy soil for more bountiful crops and to help retain moisture.

The club meets at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane on the last Tuesday of the month (except December) starting at 12:30 p.m. Social time and refreshments are followed by a brief business meeting and the program. Guests and new members are always welcome.
