Smiths celebrate 58th anniversary

Steve and Jean Smith were married on September 4, 1948, in Willington, CA. The pair met while attending Occidental College. They both became educators working for the school system of Glendale, CA. Both retired as principals of schools and moved to Fallbrook in 1989.

The Smiths have two children, Chris Smith, Tremont, CA, and Jannet Roberts, Diamond Bar, CA. They have four grandchildren.

The Smiths recently celebrated their 58th anniversary by attending a dinner theater at the Playhouse in La Jolla, CA.

Steve Smith is a member of Fallbrook Rotary and Jean Smith is a member of PEO. Both are active members of the Fallbrook Garden Club and Fallbrook United Methodist Church.
