Thanksgiving 5k Walk/Run to Feed the Hungry

FALLBROOK – Residents will be able to help feed the hungry in the Fallbrook community by participating in the Fallbrook Food Pantry’s Thanksgiving 5k Walk/Run on Saturday, Nov. 19, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 1042 S. Mission Road. The event will culminate at the same location.

Sponsor forms are now available for the event at the pantry, local churches, at Fallbrook Library, or on http://www.fallbrookfoodpantry.org. For a $250 donation, businesses and organizations can become event sponsors and have their logos imprinted on the back of event t-shirts.

Food supplies at the pantry are very low these days, and Thanksgiving is coming soon. Participants can join in a fun festival of music, exercise, food and good cheer and help those in need at the same time.
