There is an angel in Fallbrook

I’m writing this letter to say there are still angels in Fallbrook.

On Monday, September 11, I was stopped at the Main Street Gas Station to get air in my tires, a chore I had put off much to long. I was getting ready to put my four quarters in the slot when this young girl by the name of Lisa Mares pulled alongside of me and asked if I needed some help. Since this was not one of my favorite chores, I found myself saying yes, and Lisa, a perfect stranger, filled my tires with air, even though she was one her way to work.

I said, “How come you want to take time out of your busy schedule to help me, a perfect stranger?” She said, “My mother is 74 years old and I just hope someone will be kind to my mother should she ever need help.” I guess my white hair is what took her eye.

America and Fallbrook can be proud of such a caring, loving person. Thank you, Lisa, and God bless you.
