Volunteers offer home checks for vacationers

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Sheriff's Senior Volunteer Patrol wants residents to know that they can have a free perimeter security check of their residences when they are on vacation. The senior volunteers conduct the check of residences in Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow and De Luz.

The volunteers will check a home for a maximum of 90 days per request. They do not check homes that are for sale, vacant, or under construction.

Anyone interested can stop by the Fallbrook Sheriff substation at 380 E. Alvarado St. and pick up a form. The Senior Volunteer Patrol looks forward to assisting you.
