Art association to host annual Spring Art Show

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) will host its annual Spring Juried Art Show April 4 through 27 at the Fallbrook Art Center, 103 S. Main Ave.

Igor Koutsenko, a Fallbrook artist who immigrated to the US from the Crimean Peninsula on the Black Sea in 1992, will judge the show. His images show the influence of his European background.

Artists in the San Diego area are invited to enter. Entry day is March 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the art center. FAA membership is not required though members receive favorable entry fees. Entrants may join at the time of registration.

Categories are oil and acrylic, water media, mixed media including fiber art, pastel, pencil charcoal and ink, printmaking and computer generated art, photography including computer enhanced work, and three-D sculpture. For detailed information go to and click on CFE (Call For Entries).

The show will be open for viewing April 4 through 27. A reception will be held Friday, April 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

    Art is the expression of one human being to another, "I love you."
