Art Center offers outstanding lineup of shows

The Art Center at Fallbrook will have an outstanding lineup of notable shows over the next few months. A venue proud of its range and versatility, the Art Center showcases local, national and international talent. Come to the center, located at 103 S. Main (At Alvarado St.), and enjoy the experience!

The Art of the Flower Festival

Now through April 30

Show hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.

Celebrating the beauty and influence of flowers in our lives through painting, sculpture, ceramics and glass, the fine art presented includes

both contemporary and historic work. A gift shop offers flower-related

items, such as jewelry, note cards, posters, glass and ceramics.

9th Annual Gourd Fine Art Show

June 5-26

The Fallbrook Art & Cultural Center will host the Annual National Gourd Fine Art Show June 5-26. Artist Reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. Show hours will be Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sun. 1-4 p.m., special hours Sat., June 25, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Admission/donation. Art Center members free.

12th Annual Wildlife Art Show

“Reflections of Nature”

May 6-8

“Reflections of Nature,” the 12th Annual Wildlife Art Show, will be held May 6, 7 and 8. This national wildlife art show will present work by internationally renowned Artist of the Year Lyn St. Claire of Victor, ID, and Feature Artists Melanie Fain of Boerne, TX, and Susan Labouri of Big Bear Lake, CA.

A total of 32 artists, attending by invitation only, will display and sell

the best wildlife art in the country in two venues located across the street

from each other. Demonstrations will occur throughout the show. This is a must for wildlife art collectors. Show hours are May 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, May 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission/donation. For more information, call (760) 728-1414 or (800) 919-1159.

The 8th Annual Glass Show “Galaxy of Glass” will be held July 3 - 31 at the Art Center. Show hours will be Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. Opening Reception July 2, 5 to 7 p.m. Art Center members only. Admission/donation. Art Center members free.
