Gourd Patch to meet Feb. 12

The Fallbrook Area Gourd Patch will hold its meeting Feb. 12 at the Valley Center Livery, 29200 Cole Grade Road, Valley Center.

Ruth Phillips, a longtime member of the group, will share her expertise of gourd artistry as well as her gorgeous patina work on gourds. She has won many awards and ribbons in fairs and galleries for displaying her unique gourd birds, animals, dolls, lamps, vessels bowls and containers.

The group is also getting ready for their fourth annual “Gourd Pizzazz” gallery show March 1 through 26 at the Artist’s Gallery, 121 W. Grand Ave., Escondido.
