Young artists' work on display

The California Art Education Association (CAEA) and other Art Education Associations across the US have traditionally named March as Youth Art Month (YAM). Association members are encouraged to arrange for displays of children’s artwork in their communities to celebrate YAM. You may visit the children’s room of the Fallbrook Public Library during March to see the beautiful, comprehensive display of children’s art done by students at The Art Studios of Fallbrook under the instruction of CAEA member Marilee Ragland.

The works have been created by children from ages 4 to 12 and include three-dimensional paper sculptures, abstract compositions, still-life paintings, wildlife art, original paintings and drawings, and much more.

A new class is beginning on March 12 to create possible entries for the Fallbrook Junior Wild Life Art Show coming up at the end of April. For more information concerning classes at the Art Studios of Fallbrook and the Annual Children’s Wildlife Art Show, please call (760) 728-6383.
