CLCA announces test for CLT

The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), San Diego chapter, has announced it will offer day-long testing for Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) certifications starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10, at Cuyamaca Community College, 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in El Cajon.

CLT, a testing program administered by CLCA and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America, is designed to recognize proficiency in the landscape workforce and provide consumers with a way to identify qualified landscape professionals. CLT testing is offered twice a year, once in Northern California and once in Southern California. For more information about CLT testing, contact Tara Stout of CLCA in Sacramento at (800) 448-2522 or Ken O’Haver of CLCA in San Diego at (619) 596-1576 or visit http://www.clca.org.
