Coldwell Banker to be major sponsor of Bark in the Park

FALLBROOK – Anne Richter, Live Oak Dog Park committee member, recently met with realtors Donna Shanahan and Tess Hansford at the Live Oak Dog Park to accept a check from Coldwell Banker Village Properties and welcome them as a major sponsor of Bark in the Park.

Hansford said Coldwell Banker Village Properties has a community support fund into which all agents contribute. “It is a wonderful way to support the different requests we receive for donations for many events throughout the year.”

Bark in the Park is an annual fundraising event benefiting the Live Oak Dog Park in Fallbrook. Proceeds pay for the maintenance of the off-leash area located at the intersection of Reche and Gird Roads. Contributions by major sponsors, other sponsors, vendors, the dog walk and contest entries are the major source of revenue for the year.

Bark in the Park takes place March 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Live Oak Park, 2746 Reche Road, Fallbrook. The event will include a silent auction and raffle prizes. Efforts to involve community businesses through contributions of gift certificates, gift baskets, and merchandise began in December.

Signup for the dog walk and contest entries begins at 8 a.m. the day of the event.
