Found money donated to Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary

FALLBROOK – Two local gentlemen, who have been walking for exercise through the parking lots of Fallbrook for the last eight years and finding treasures, have donated their loot to the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary (FAS).

Tom Wallace and DA White are good friends and walk a few days a week through the town and started picking up loose change and sometimes paper money on the friendly streets of Fallbrook.

They recently decided to save it for some worthy cause and picked the FAS because their wives are clients of Jesse Tran, a nail tech at Oceanwaves Salon and the owner, Connie Buehman, works at the sanctuary as a volunteer and board member.

On Dec. 14, Tom and Sue Wallace and DA and Joan White came in to present the bags of loot to Buehman and Tran for the sanctuary.

“This gift comes at a perfect time for the sanctuary because our donations are really down because of the hard times everyone is having, and I think these guys are a Godsend,” said Buehman.
