HomeLife® Housekeeping celebrates 30th anniversary

FALLBROOK – Since its inception in 1985, HomeLife® Housekeeping has grown from a small Fallbrook service to a two-office company that offers the best in professional housecleaning to all of San Diego North County.

Original owners Norman and Barbara Jarnes continue to work part-time at the Fallbrook office, while daughter and son-in-law Grace and Christopher Mathewson are full-time managers at the Vista office.

"Thirty years of experience provide HomeLife® Housekeeping customers with an established reputation for personal trustworthiness and affordable quality," said founding owner Barbara Jarnes. She also noted that customers can enjoy the peace of mind provided by a carefully selected housekeeping staff. This includes the e-verify process to establish legal employment eligibility, extensive background checks, and drug-free certification. Once accepted into the 'HomeLife family,' employees are thoroughly trained to provide superb and secure service.

In addition, HomeLife® provides its customers with important liability insurance as well as crucial workers' compensation protection in case of injury on the job. This contributes to the loyalty and longevity of both clients and staff. For example, some clients have been with HomeLife® for more than 20 years, while fully one-fourth of housekeeping staff has been with the company for 12 years. "This is particularly exceptional in an industry notable for high turnover," Barbara said.

A company pool party is being planned this summer to celebrate the company's important milestone. "Being in business 30 years, through good times and tough times, is an accomplishment from which we take great personal satisfaction," Barbara said.
