Javier Escobedo speaks to Kiwanis

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook’s Kiwanis Club heard a most interesting story from Javier Escobedo recently. Mr. Escobedo is a teacher at Potter Junior High School. His father came from Mexico in the 1950s and had very little education but wanted his children to be educated. Javier went to California State University, San Marcos and graduated in 1997. He is married and has two children. He started teaching at Live Oak Elementary School and obtained a master’s degree in 2004. Escobedo is working on qualifications to be a school administrator and plans to continue his education to obtain a doctorate.
