Legacy Endowment to award two grants

Legacy Endowment, the community foundation that manages individual endowments and disburses funds (as per the directions of the donor) for the benefit of the community of North San Diego County, has announced it has funds to be awarded for two separate grants to 501(c)(3) organizations (non-profits).

The grants will be awarded for:

1. Handicapped assistance

2. Senior citizen causes

Requirements for both grants are as follows: a letter of intent must be received by January 31 at the Legacy office. The Legacy Board of Directors will (from the letter of intent) select those organizations that will be invited to apply for the grant.

Those selected must complete and return the grant application to Legacy Endowment by 3 p.m. on March 31.
