Rasmussen joins Fallbrook HealthCare Foundation

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook HealthCare Foundation is pleased to announce that Renae Rasmussen has joined their staff as Director of Resources.

“We are delighted to have someone of Renae’s professional stature joining our organization.” said Carol Kratochvil, president of the Board of Directors. “Her knowledge of community health providers will greatly enhance The Foundation’s current and future services.”

Betsey Levering, executive director of The Foundation, said that Renae’s main focus in her new position will be to launch a new program entitled CARE Advocacy. This program will help alone, chronically ill and the under-served members of our community deal with health needs and health care issues at the community level.

As Director of Resources, Renae will also coordinate two additional programs:

• Health Care Resources – an informational referral service for all age groups about the health care services available in Fallbrook, surrounding communities and San Diego County.

• Project CARE – a service designed to assist the frail, elderly and disabled to remain in their homes safely and independently.

Renae was the Administrator for the Fallbrook Health Care District for the past five years.

Among her duties at the District, Renae was the chairperson for the annual Health Fair and she was responsible for developing the grant program procedures.
