RMWD explores options

FALLBROOK — At a special meeting of the Rainbow Municipal Water District Board on Thursday, April 21, the board directed its counsel, Greg Moser of Foley & Lardner LLP, to continue exploring with Pardee Homes options for exiting the pre-annexation agreement under which the developer may be permitted to construct a sewage treatment plant on district property, according to General Manager Greg Ensminger. “The board listened to a wide variety of community concerns raised at recent meetings regarding the environmental and growth inducing impacts of the proposed plant at this location and we are proceeding to address them,” said Board President Larry Sundram.
