Service Clubs

November and December were busy months for the Bonsall Woman’s Club ladies. The “Magic of Christmas” held at the Art & Cultural Center in Fallbrook was turned into a beautiful and wonderful room filled with Designer Christmas Trees, baskets filled with all types of gifts that anyone would love to receive. The Christmas Crafts Shoppe with unique gifts from various vendors. It was quite a fundraising success!

Thanks to co-chairman, Jane Johnson and Carol Cottingham, Craft Shoppe Chairmen, RoseMary Leddy and Marian Freeman, Vendor Managers, Sharon Sudak and Ellen Cramer, Angel Benefactors, Dene Reed and Jane Hammond, Reservations & Seating, Diane Trappen, Table Settings, Elaine Davis and of course the Grand Finale on December 11th, Sam Logan, Ann Logan and Cindy Gibson-Floyd.

After the Magic of Christmas was over, they then switched onto another Christmas project, collecting food and money for the local needy families.

They all needed a well deserved rest.

Rotary Club of Bonsall

In January 2005, the Bonsall Rotary Club will start to build a boardwalk in the Bonsall Preserve. This project has been in the planning stage for quite some time. Work was delayed however until enough of the area had been cleared for access. The Boardwalk will cross the Ostrich Farm Creek and surrounding wetland and will make this area accessible to the public. No trail exists at present. The Bonsall Preserve is located on the northwest corner of South Mission Road and Route 76, across from River Village Shopping center.

For additional information, please contact the Bonsall Rotary at P. O. Box 934, Bonsall, CA 92003, or call 1-800-456-4465. Anton Kokke (760) 945-9347
