CAMP PENDLETON – Marines will conduct an exercise that involves the detonation of Mine Clearing Line Charges, here, today, Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and tomorrow, Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The crew that took the San Diego-based littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth to Southeast Asia late last year and helped searched for a crashed airliner is scheduled to return home today.

FALLBROOK – The St. Vincent De Paul Society of Fallbrook held its second annual “Adopt a Marine Family” event on Dec. 17, 2014 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. The event was held to honor a few of the local Camp Pendleton Marines and their families.
During the spring semester, Fallbrook High School head football coach Kyle Williams teaches a football physical education class during sixth period. This semester’s class has 60 ninth-grade through 11th-grade students. On Wednesdays, the class will also have visitors from the United States Marine Corps.
