Once again, January at Fallbrook High School will be filled with loads of activities. With finals at the end of January, we will all be ready to start fresh with a new year! Winter Break has ended, but throughout the break, soccer, basketball, water polo, and wrestling teams competed in various games and tournaments, making Fallbrook High School proud.
I bet you didn’t think airbands would be here this soon, so start preparing and choreographing because packets are now available in ASB and online. Airbands is one event you will not want to miss out on. Students choose songs that tell a story and lip-sync and dance to the music. The airband competition is March 11, and then the finalists will advance to the regional competition on March 26. Don’t miss out!
Students who would like to attend college and are worried about the costs (and even students who have made financial plans to attend school) should have no fear because FAFSA is here! All parents are welcome to attend the FAFSA college aid workshop on January 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bob Burton Center. All parents should come to learn how they can pay for their child’s education.
Winter Formal is on its way! Boys, you better start asking, because this winter break doesn’t leave much time. Winter Formal is January 22 at the NCO Club on Camp Pendleton. Tickets go on sale in the ASB office January 10. This dance will provide much needed relief to all of the studying for finals. Take a break and attend this dance.
