Farm Bureau scholarships available

The San Diego County Farm Bureau’s Scholarship program is offering scholarships to college and college-bound students who are residents of San Diego County and pursuing a degree in agriculture or a closely related field. Applicants are not required to be Farm Bureau members. The application deadline is April 22.

Applications and recommendation forms are available from the Farm Bureau office or can be downloaded from its Web site, http://www.sdfarmbureau.org, where applicants can also download information about many more agriculture-related scholarship programs also accepting applications. Completed applications for San Diego County Farm Bureau scholarships must be received in the Farm Bureau office at 1670 E. Valley Parkway in Escondido no later than 5 p.m. Friday, April 22.
