Foston to graduate from CSUDH

FALLBROOK – Milan Corrine Foston, daughter of Mrs. Claudia Foston and the late Dr. Frederick B. Foston, graduates from California State University Dominguez Hills on May 18 with a Bachelor of Arts and humanities degree in Africana Studies, specializing in socio-psychological development.

Foston’s university experience was full and challenging, as she enthusiastically participated in academic political learning events, African American study projects and university-sponsored showcases. Throughout her university tenure, she maintained membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

A 2009 Fallbrook Union High School graduate active in FUHS Student Council and a varsity cheerleader, Foston also cheered for Cal State Dominguez Hills and plans to pursue her social and political interests by attending law school in the fall. Charles and Elizabeth Cheathem of Fallbrook are her very proud grandparents.
