Girl Scout Troop 4358 raises funds for Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary

FALLBROOK – This year Girl Scout Troop 4358 chose the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary to receive all funds raised from the their annual sale of homemade lemonade, baked goods and snow cones.

In spite of the cool temperature on the Tuesday evening when they set up their lemonade stand in front of Major Market, the girls were able to raise $167.75 from their sales.

On July 31, the Girl Scouts presented a check to Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary founder Janet LuCore in front of Major Market where the sanctuary was holding a pet adoption fair.

“When the girls learned about the no-kill Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary,” Gina Frame, a Troop leader and mother of one of the scouts, said, “it was a unanimous vote. And while it isn’t a huge contribution, they did their best and are very proud to have made a contribution to our community.”
