Live Oak Elementary celebrates Read Across America

FALLBROOK – Live Oak Elementary School celebrated Read Across America with a week filled with special events to honor the birthday of Dr. Seuss and to encourage reading.

One of the students’ favorite events was Guest Reader Day. Volunteers from the school and community came into classrooms and shared their favorite books with the students. Live Oak students appreciated their enthusiasm and as well as their stories. School librarian Laurie Anderson organized the event and activities to make reading “come alive” for the students.
