Maynard earns doctorate in veterinary medicine

FALLBROOK – Michael and Patricia Kirkpatrick are proud to announce that on June 13 their daughter, Katharine Kirkpatrick Maynard, graduated cum laude from St. George’s University with a doctorate of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Maynard will begin a post-doctorate placement at the West Los Angeles Animal Specialty and Emergency Center this July where she plans to focus her discipline in small animal internal medicine and emergency, and critical care.

She additionally hopes to eventually share her skills in shelter medicine, with pets of the homeless, as well as partake in future volunteer work abroad.
