NCL scholarships deadline April 15

Friday, April 15, is the deadline for National Charity League (NCL) scholarship applications to be turned into the Career Center at Fallbrook High School. This year, NCL is pleased to offer five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to college-bound Fallbrook High graduating senior girls. The awards are based on grade point average, SAT/ACT scores and school and community activities. Also taken into consideration are work, financial need, personal recommendation, essay and an interview with the scholarship committee. One of the scholarships will be the Ann Daniel Memorial Scholarship, which goes to the girl whose commitment to community service surpasses the other applicants.

National Charity League, Inc. is a nonprofit organization composed of Patroness and Ticktocker groups, organized to initiate and encourage charitable endeavors and to foster the mother-daughter relationship in philanthropic, cultural and social training. Funds for the scholarships are raised through various events throughout the year.
