Potter events offer fun

Potter Junior High students have been involved in Lip Sync tryouts this week. Many have gotten a group together, chosen a song, and put together some great choreography. Rehearsals are taking place now. They will perform in front of judges in March. First-, second-, and third-place winners will be honored.

The Valentine’s Dance was a huge success. Our student body voted for King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. The winners were eighth-grader Alex Palmerin, King, and eighth-grader Sara Garcia, Queen. The winner for Prince was seventh-grader Dustin Drake, and the Princess was seventh-grader Ashley Alvarado. Congratulations to those who won. We are proud of you.

Hey, seventh-graders, our carnival is coming up soon! The festivities are scheduled for May 27. Keep up the good grades and you will be able to attend. If your grades have dropped and you’re not doing as well as you’d hoped, there is still time to try harder — that way you will not be put on the non-participation list. Keep up the good work, everyone!
