Retired teachers participate in community swap meet

The public is invited to visit the display tables of California Retired Teachers at the swap meet on Sat., April 9, from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center. There will be useable household items for sale. Each year the retired teachers use proceeds from the sale to provide grants to active teachers in the Fallbrook area who, because state and federal funds have been cut, must use their own money to enhance classroom programs.
