Scholarships offered by Calif. Retired Teachers Association

FALLBROOK – California Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Foundation, Inc. of North San Diego County, comprised of Palomar Division 63, North San Diego County Division 45 and Avocado Division 81, is pleased to announce that scholarship applications for the school year 2013-2014 have been delivered to Fallbrook High School. The scholarship foundation works to provide scholarships for deserving future teachers graduating from North San Diego County high schools.

The scholarships are available for graduating seniors who will attend a California public community college or state university (CSU or UC system) in the coming year and are based on financial need, scholastic record, community service, and more.

Scholarships of $1,000 are awarded to students attending junior college; those attending a CSU or UC school receive $1,500.

Scholarship applications are available at the Fallbrook High School career center. Deadline for applications is March 11.
