Sullivan Washington, D.C. group draws winning ticket

Sullivan Middle School’s eighth grade students just completed the Washington, D.C. raffle event. The fundraiser was provided to earn money to help cover the costs of the trip being taken in the spring. The raffle was for a $1,000 holiday shopping spree and the winner won $1,000 cash to use as they wish. The winning ticket was drawn by Principal John Heckman on December 17, 2004. The student who sold the winning ticket was Derek Fletes. The winner, Melissa Branzura, is Derek Fletes’ sister.
