Talent abounds

The Sullivan girls basketball teams, both JV and varsity, have been assembled and have already completed their first few games! They are an excellent group of exceedingly talented students and we can expect a great season from them. Congratulations to the new team members! Also in Sullivan sports news, varsity and JV co-ed soccer teams have been put together. They are all equally as talented and they too will soon be competing in the first games of the season. Good luck to both sports teams. We look forward to seeing your talents in action.

Recently, a presentation for our eighth grade students was held at Fallbrook High School. Students who went got the opportunity to learn from some high school staff members about what their schedules will look like during their four years there and also some of the unique opportunities open to all grade levels. It gave them a chance to see what lies ahead and helped them greatly when selecting their elective choices later that week. With this assembly, ninth grade at FUHS will be a little easier on the eighth-graders of Sullivan.

As a final note, Sullivan choir and band students are beginning to receive more information and are planning for the competition and Disneyland trips. Permission slips, a parent note from the band director, and various forms were given out recently explaining most of the details of the trip. We look forward to this trip later in the spring and eagerly await the event with great anticipation.
