Filmmaker to present work to film club

OCEANSIDE – For the first time in the North County Film Club's history, a filmmaker will be on hand to present her film and to be available for a Q and A session after the film. The film is "The Immigration Paradox," which takes a critical and in depth look at a very divisive issue – immigration.

Filmmaker Lourdes Lee Vasquez spent seven years searching for answers and solutions to this complex issue. Her film will take the audience to places never before considered in the immigration debate.

The film and Q&A will be Sunday, July 12, 3 p.m. at the Carmike Theater (formerly Digiplex) Mission and College, Oceanside.

This presentation promises to be very enlightening and interesting. For more information contact www.ncfilmclub.com or call (760) 500-1927.
