'Just Like Heaven' throws mystery of fate into comedy/romance movie

“Just Like Heaven” is a comedy/romance movie about an all-about-work cat lady, Lizzy (Reese Witherspoon), who actually doesn’t have any cats but comes back as a spirit after an awful accident. The only person besides a child who can see her is a depressed landscape artist, David (Mark Ruffalo), who is led to move into Lizzy’s old apartment.

The two constantly bicker until they realize that they can help each other out. Lizzy helps David release his inner turmoil and he helps her discover herself and why she’s in this state. They also try to figure out why they are connected. Fate works in mysterious ways as the love blooms.

“Just like Heaven” is directed by Mark Waters and is rated PG-13 with a running time of 95 minutes.
