Moonlight's 25th anniversary summer season

VISTA — Moonlight Stage Productions celebrates 25 years of Moonlight musical magic with the announcement of an exciting 2005 summer season of musicals at its outdoor facility, the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Brengle Terrace Park. The 25th summer season will include four spectacular musicals under the stars, including “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” “Pirates of Penzance,” “The Will Rogers Follies, A Life in Revue” and “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” Season packages for the 2005 summer season are now on sale, and single tickets are

available beginning May 11 at the VisTix Ticket Office or by calling (760) 724-2110.

The 25th anniversary summer season of musicals opens with Disney’s magical tale “Beauty and the Beast.” This show is a feast of gladness for the entire family! The season opener runs June 22 through July 9.

In the next production, audiences will experience pure musical hilarity on a wild English seacoast with “Pirates of Penzance,” which takes the stage from July 20 through July 31.

“The Will Rogers Follies, A Life in Revue” features eye-popping tap numbers, trick-roping wranglers and clever comedy. The jazzy score and wit of “The Will Rogers Follies, A Life in Revue” will appear onstage from August 10 through August 21.

Moonlight’s final show of the season is the musical theatre masterpiece “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” Experience the music and fun of Mark Twain’s tale of Huck Finn’s river raft adventures. “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” hits the Moonlight Amphitheatre stage on August 31 and runs through September 11.

The Moonlight Amphitheatre is located in Vista’s Brengle Terrace Park, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista, CA 92084. All show times are Wednesdays through Sundays at 8:00 p.m. Amphitheatre seating begins at 6:30 p.m. for pre-show picnics.
