Steinbeck to be discussed at Book Talk

The works of John Steinbeck, the featured author of this year’s Community Read, will be the subject of discussion at the April 14 session of Book Talk. Discussion leader will be Jim Hall, chairman of the Community Read and professor emeritus, Northwestern University, Chicago. He will focus on “East of Eden,” “Travels with Charley” and “Cannery Row.”

Book Talk, sponsored by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library, is open to anyone who enjoys reading and would like the opportunity to participate in discussions in an informal setting. The group meets the second Thursday of the month from September to June (except December), 1:30 p.m., at the FPUD facility, 990 E. Mission.
