PALA - Rhythm and blues legends The Stylistics will team up with the international hit-making duo Peaches & Herb for a special concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 5, in the Palomar Starlight Outdoor Theater at Pala Casino Spa & Resort.
The Stylistics came together in 1968 in Philadelphia, PA, and during the 1970s, the group had 12 consecutive U.S. R&B Top 10 hits including its signature song, “You Make Me Feel Brand New.”
The Stylistics are still one of R&B’s top performing groups with original members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell, and new members Harold Eban Brown and Jason Sharp.
Peaches & Herb began recording in 1966 in Washington, D.C. and enjoyed a string of successful albums. But they became international stars in 1979 with their triple platinum hit, “Reunited.” They will reprise all their major hits during the Pala show.
