Trapizoid to perform at Youth Fair

A new Fallbrook musical group, Trapizoid, will be performing at the Youth Fair, to be held at Fallbrook High School on May 21. The group consists of three local Fallbrook musicians: Tracy Wiebeck (from the Ventilators, the Druthers, Old Gravy and the Hilltop Allstars), Dennis David (Old Gravy and the Hilltop Allstars) and Steve Roberts (lead guitarist with the band Wheels of Fire and current music director of the Hilltop Center in Fallbrook).

The group plays a collection of rock and roll, country and blues spanning nearly six decades of popular American music. If you like Ray Charles, the Doors, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Billy Joel, Otis Redding and Eric Clapton, you will love to hear this group. They also play several original numbers that grew out of their combined background of classic rock and roll.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Fallbrook Youth Fair, there will be a wide variety of game booths from Fallbrook Pop Warner to the Fire Explorer program. The Youth Fair is Sat., May 21, and Sun., May 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Please come see the still exhibits at the gym. Metal woodworking and homemaking exhibits will also be on display. The Fallbrook Ag Boosters are putting on their famous Tri-Tip dinner Sat. evening at 4:30. Hope to see you there.

The event is sponsored by the Optimist Club of Fallbrook.
