`The year was 1950 and the cookbook was Betty Crocker’s Picture Cookbook. It was a best seller! Not only was it the top cookbook of the year

Looking for the Coconut-lemon bars
on page 192 . firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks
Thank you! The Berries & Cream pie I grew up on as a farm kid in Vermont, and then made for my family mostly using red raspberries, blackberries or blueberries. It’s ok to mix berries too. It’s one of those pies that begs to be eaten all up in a day. Doesn’t keep well, and is truly best slightly warm or at room temp.
Also the shortcake recipe is the only one I’ve ever used. Thank you for publishing it. For those who don’t know, the 1952 Betty Crocker cookbook is still available with Andy Warhol illustrations! Excellent cookbook on many levels!
