Caregiving workshop includes information about making the most of doctor visits

SAN MARCOS – State Senator Joel Anderson is hosting a free workshop with the Southern Caregiver Resource Center on Friday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

to educate community members about caregiving and communication techniques, building better relationships with their physicians, and obtaining helpful resources.

In addition, an expert will address what to expect when a parent has dementia, and Anderson’s district staff will be available to assist attendees with legislative or specific questions.
