Fourth annual Health Fair will be March 12

It’s time again to Celebrate Your Health at Fallbrook’s fourth annual Health Fair sponsored by the Fallbrook Healthcare District, Fallbrook Hospital, Fallbrook Village Rotary and the San Diego County Parks and Recreation Community Center. The fair will be held at the Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, on March 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s fair will provide the following testing services at no charge to attendees: dental, vision, blood pressure, diabetes, total cholesterol, and, if participants come fasting, a differential cholesterol test can be done, as well as more accurate diabetes screening.

Entertainment will consist of fun children’s activities like face painting, balloon animals and a clown. Dance performances of various types, including Ballet Folklorico, will take place. Music and audience activities presented by a bilingual deejay will also include raffle prizes from the fair’s healthy living exhibitors. The year’s exhibitors already include:

Last year’s fair attracted over 2,000 visitors and is being looked on as a state and county Community Model for Health Awareness.
