National Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 27

FALLBROOK – Authorities are advising residents to clean out their medicine cabinets and get rid of old, unwanted prescription drugs during the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 27.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department will collect and safely dispose of unwanted or expired medicines if they are brought to deputies that day, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation, 388 E. Alvarado Street.
