Potentially life-saving screenings offered May 13

FALLBROOK - Residents living in and around the greater Fallbrook area can be screened to identify and potentially reduce the risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. On May 13, Life Line Screening will be at Zion Lutheran Church, 1405 East Fallbrook St. to provide those screenings.

Screenings can help identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease. A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered and is appropriate for both men and women.
