Composting workshop offered Oct. 6

FALLBROOK – The basics of composting and vermicomposting (composting with worms) will be taught to the community on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fallbrook Community Center. The Solana Center, in partnership with the County of San Diego, is offering the free workshop on composting and the benefits it can provide. Attendees will participate in a hands-on demo and be eligible to win raffle prizes like a kitchen scrap collector and a compost thermometer.
