Fallbrook Fire Safe Council receives award

The Fallbrook Fire Safe Council (FFSC) received the Fire Safe Council of the Year Award for San Diego County on September 30. The North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) Board of Directors recognized the FFSC and thanked them for their extraordinary efforts to improve fire safety in the community. Then, the board recognized outgoing members Dennis Lindeman and Frank Adams for their tireless efforts to improve fire safety and emergency medical services in the communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow during their years of service. Lindeman served for eight years and Adams for 12 years. They did not seek re-election when their terms expired this year.
